After 43 years operating in secret, the Hot Wheels Test Facility goes public at the 100th anniversary of the INDY 500.  As the Media Liaison and Communications Director, I was able to co-host along with Cameron Steele as Yellow Driver Tanner Foust set the world record jump of 332 feet breaking the old record by 31 feet.  The starting platform was attached to a 100 foot door on the infield of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.  It was a great weekend and I was amazed and privileged to be a part of this historic event.

This special aired in the half hour slot right after the finish of the race on ABC.  The jump in its entirety is located here on youtube as well as interviews and other cool videos from Team Hot Wheels.

The question everyone is asking now is, "What are they gonna do next?".  I'm sure they'll try their best to keep it secret as long as possible...
