As much as not getting the job hurts, I think what hurts even more in this business is knowing that someone else is shooting that project right now while you’re back at square one to try to grab something else down the road.  Needless to say, Lo-Jack is gone and they never even released me from avail.  “Yeah, I’ve still got the days off for you guys!  Even though you started filming on Monday in Florida...I’m still available if you need me!  Just call me!  I’ll be waiting right by the phone for you!!”  ...Not.

Anyway, the good news is that I booked a short film called “Shades of Gray” with Sharon Hill that addresses racism and interracial relationships.  This will be a good role for me and I’m excited to dive into the project.  Film starts shooting in a couple of weeks.
